What I Like
I love the how clean the site looks due to all the white color. The fading background (is that notebook paper?) is a wonderful touch ala YTS. I like the image with the suits, but don't think it portrays Andy's company too well. I don't see him as some tightass corporate person, but I could be wrong.
The header is tight and crisp and the body typography makes it easy to read.
Checkout the rest of the site. It's very blog-like which many will think isn't that special, but it is all well organized.
What I Don't Like
The headers seem "cheap" compared to the rest of the site. Also the logo is smaller than his blog's logo which gives the impression that it's his blog instead of a company site. Can be confusing for some.

I think that the mentioned thread in Mr Budd's blog got a little out of hand. This design may have been inspired, but then who's not inspired by a good idea? To even suggest that a company responsible for making inspirational designs off their own back would devour someone elses work is just plain dumb. I never realised that rounded content containers had been patented until I read that stupid thread.

We are commenting on the NEW design here. Which I happen to think looks fantastic. It is always hard redesigning and already great site but I think Andy has done a great job of it. A very nice site indeed.

Thanks for that Scrivs. Regarding the logo, at the moment it's a pale apology for one I admit. Look out for a new logo by a certain well-known logo maker in the New Year. ;)

Love the overall look of this site -- it's clean and interesting. Love the way they combined the latest trends: the worn look with drop shadows out the yin-yang, the standards-compliant bloggy look ... But there are a couple of things that don't work: the kerning is too tight in the subheads and very difficult to read and the "cutsomise this site" doohickie doesn't work for changing the print styles (and why would "large serif" be one of the choices? Why not "large sans"? And why is the default contrast so low: is there something wrong with the text that makes the authors feel compelled to whisper?) I'm looking at it in IE6 on a PC -- which I know is evil but face it folks, it will be the browser your clients will be using for some time to come, unfortunately. Why are designers so enamored of such anal-retentive default font sizes, anyway? Most of the people I know who use the web are 1) older than 25 years and consequently most don't have perfect eyesight and 2) have no clue how to change font sizes with the browser (on those sites where it's possible). Why should a visitor have to do anything to make the site usable? I just don't get it. Stuff & Nonsense's redesign does inspire me to plan on finally taking the time to get our own company website out of tables and into standards-compliant xhtml/css ...
