What I Like
Allows me to get away from blogs for a second :-).
Just a clean and refined site. Drop shadows and gradients make the graphics look professional without being cheesy and the navigation is well implemented.
The color scheme is soothing and the subpages are legible.
What I Don't Like
Homepage could do a better job of letting people know what they do. I know the flash does that, but I got tired of watching it.

CSS Vault uses the Arial, Helvetica font-family, as well ;)

Thanks for the comments guys. I know there are some things to improve on in the source code side of things, but it uses the CMS, typo3 and getting it to spit out valid code is a struggle. Its not like textpattern or MT. But i will take all into account for my next project !

There's always the problem of resizing fonts, though. It's the everlasting worry one always has with pixel-perfect designs. I just happened to have my fonts one step bigger than default in Mozilla and broke everything. Although it can be admitted of experimental designs (css zen garden, namely), I would be uncomfortable with the problem on a production site. I'm not criticising their choice, given the design I don't see how they could have done otherwise, except maybe with an overflow of some kind, but I *do* agree overflow scrolling is ugly and unusable, too.

Fred: Yes the logo is similar to the wallpaper logo, maybe it was an inspiration or even a blatant copy by the designer that designed it ?? But it has been the companies logo for years before i stepped into the scene. They like their logo, i could not persuade them to change it for that reason. So.. i had to work with it. What can you do ? OH.... and i can assure you the website itself is not a copy of someone else's.. i created that from scratch ;)

Matt: The words 'clearly a copy from other company' I've wrote before are clearly too strong and I didn't really mean that. I'm sorry. And about your web design work, I really like it (it was just a question I made to justify my opinion). Hey… I even bookmarked the site ;-)

Fred, Its all good mate, I appreciate your kind words regarding the design. However i just felt the need to justify the fact that it wasnt me that designed the logo. :-) Cheers !
