Oooo I can't say this is one of the better entries into the vault. The whole construction cap thing, yuck. All that black looks really boring and that header with diagonal stripes looks unfreindly. I spent a total of 2.2 seconds looking at this one.

The vault is one of the worst css galleries out there right now. It survives purly because of it's name and history (link backs)... nothing else. Stylegala, Cssbeauty, are the only ones doing any real improvement. The truth hurts. About the site... well not my favorite, nothing impresive.

In fairness to Jakob (site owner), I get the impression he has alot on his plate. I do think he has perhaps taken on a bit too much, and I can't disagree that this site has suffered alot as a result.

jakob you bought the vault, but you could never pay for the qaulity of content and comments that scrivs updated us with. you've turned something that was once a 'must see' stop for me everymorning ..to a once a week visit(if that) to see if anything new is up. shame on you

Wow, well I certainly never intended for my site to become the PosterBoy for the "declining standards" at the Vault. In defense of my site, it was rushed to launch for the Reboot and still isn't 100% complete. I certainly never intended for it to be listed on any Gallery sites. Don't get me wrong though, I'm very proud to see it listed here. In defense of the Vault, I think it's appalling that people have chosen the comments of a site's submission to publicly defame and denounce the Vault's reputation. The honourable thing to do would be to contact the owner directly and discuss things like adults. (I'm aware that this goes on all of the time, but it's extremely frustrating to repeatedly see). So please, use this page to criticize my site, not the Vault, it's only fair. Also, I appreciate the feedback I have been getting about our site. We have a couple new ideas which will be implemented within the next week or so. We never expected for our site to be getting any attention (positive or negative), so this has all come as quite a shock to us.

Wow, im a first time poster on the vault. As for the example site, not bad - its a good start. The web is ever changing so progression can be made. Keep up the good work on your site. Everyone will always have their opinion, and the Internet seems to be the easiest way for people to truly speak their mind. I do hope, however, that some people can grow up in this process and step out of their little boxes. If anything, what makes the quality of this site poor is the immature postings (seriously, the only mature posting is made by someone who is 17 years old) - not the negligence of the owner.
