I like the main content column too. The style is simple and this gives it good readability. I also like their use of infomation articles to draw people into the site. I think that's an element all commercial sites should have. The floating header links are a little unusual but perhaps because the content below them is flat (no drop shadows) they still feel attached. It probably wouldn't work in alot of other situations.

Nice use of shadows. I get ugly green lines on the left hand side of many of the links in FF (Win). They are erratic though, influenced by hovering the mouse. I've always got these with various sites, even after reinstalling Windows and FF. (But only a few sites). Does anyone know if they are a bug with the code or what causes them?

I like the design of your website. Nice festive colors. Though I am noticing a trend in the heavy use of drop shadows in css-based designs, but that's just my two-cents worth. I have NN v7.01, and it appears that the H1, H2 and H3 styles are having problems with their letterspacing. I did notice on your style sheet that you are using negative numbers to bring in the spacing...don't know why since it's bunching up the letters...well, at least on my browser. Overall, the content and design work very well together. Nice job.

Mike, you probably don't have Flash installed. It looks like the letterspacing was done that way to make the sIFR headlines fit.
