What I Like

Quite possibly one of the best minimalist design sites on the web in my opinion (yes I know how much my opinion matters to you) and one of the first entries ever into the Vault. What is so deceptive about sites like this is the fact that everyone believes they can create something of equal value. I disagree. Sites like these take skill.

I love the typography of the headers and the use of the header.

I like how the IA changes from the homepage to the internal pages with a navigation structure that works.

Beauty without a dropshadow.

What I Don't Like

I am trying, but there really isn't anything I dislike about the site. Maybe the header font is hard to read with the funky green and white lettering.

    This is an outstanding example of minimalist design. It is clear, informative and well laid out. I really like the sparse use of color as it emphasizes important information. Well done.

    Great design. I love it. I did notice that his quotes are backward on the lifted quotes - maybe that's a German thing. The site totally reminds me of Apple's site. Maybe it's the typeface of his logo? Very clean and deliberate.

    I like this site, it is nicely minimalist. I feel that I would like a proper navigation bar at the top/bottom however. Michele: It is the German way afaik :).

    The choice of contrast, epsecially on the interior pages, really hurst my eyes. I could not bear the extra exertion I needed to read/view the pages. Otherwise, I like the simple, uncluttered layout..
