I'd like to see hover effects on the nav, but the design will do.

WOW! that's beautiful, my recent redesign wants to make me cry when I look at that!

Not that impressed with this piece, it's simply big images than good CSS.
Chris Gwynne (http://www.chrisgwynne.com/)
Chris, I would have to agree with you on this one, also this site is never going to be ranked anyway that can be good in google he has a 0.0% keyword density :(
Dave
Ouch.. try disabling images on that one.. not a pretty sight.

Or try resizing text...

I love the design.. don;t get me wrong. But I must agree with everyone else's opinion.
Alex Giron (http://www.cssbeauty.com)
It's a big sliced up image - no flexibility at all.
Seb
The design is nice, but it takes no advantage of the power of CSS. By the way, switch off the style sheet and the images and you end up with nothing really useable. Have the site spoken by a screen reader. Not at all very friendly to visual impaired people.
Stephan
The site looks nice and functions fine, perhaps not an amazing use of css and not great for the visually impaired but for the majority it is a nice site!

I love the colours they are using, with the flower shapes. Looks very nice. I would love to know where they got those shapes. I've been looking around for a while for shapes (I'm assuming they're custom shapes in photoshop) like that to use in photoshop stuff. But definately not using CSS to it's fullest power. Still a great site though. Wish I had those flower shapes...

At least it's not in a massive nested table.... <!-- end ImageReady slices -->

Thanks for the feedback guys. I do agree with your comments, but I'm satisfied with the site. Also, if you go in past the first page it gets better as far as text-in-images. Jimmy

Uh, Steven...where is your link? ;) I would like to clarify that I think this site is gorgeous to look at, and I am glad CSS is used to drive it. I just think alot of the power in CSS is how it handles text and allows for greater accessibility... Jimmy's right though, once you get inside the door it really looks good.
Brad Daily (http://bradleyboy.com/blog)
and brad, if your comparing your url against DigitalBreeze i have to say that Db wins hands down
Steven
i sort of agree with the comments, but i have to say that it is a beautiful piece. there are lots of improvements that can be achieved by using CSS to it's potential, but none the less it's a beautiful site Jimmy. Thumbs up. If you're going to pass judgement/critique a site in the vault, leave you're current url so we can compare the site in question(s) with you're own attempts at a perfectly balanced CSS/Designed site, they're not very easy to come by or create so ease up a on scrivs entrie's. -peace
Steven
uh Brad...it would of been left if i had one ;)
Steven
Go to the contact page, press the submit button without keying anything in the form and see the page you get. Also, I guess Jimmy should not have included this here. See the code - its not well written at all and the first page with only images.. Nah! Isnt this site called 'cssvault'?
Raj
Steven, I don't think anyone has questioned the quality of the visuals on your site, but unfortunately good design relies on more than just that, hence some of the criticism here. I don't know exactly what criteria you're using to judge your site compared to Brad's, but jus saying "it looks nicer" is a very one-dimensional view and one that won't win you many fans. No offence meant, of course :¬)

well said
Steven
I got lazy. :)

I can't enter the site. It asks an username and password. Does anyone know how to enter it?
