What I Like
I would apologize for the lack of updates, but it isn't like I haven't been checking my email. It's just that the quality of submissions has dropped it seems so thank goodness for this piece of freshness.
I like the colors and the innovative layout. The illustrations are cool (not really my style though). The site can be complex for some, but this is just so refreshing going away from the 3 column layouts that I don't mind at all.
What I don't Like
Not that it bothers me, but if you still using a 12" monitor with 800x600 res you are out of luck.

Oh, nice! Reminds me of Quentin Blake's illustrations for Roald Dahl's children's books.

Gorgeous site, unique layout and excellent drawings! Very playful and professional.

I think people with 12" monitors have been out of luck long before this site ;D

Wow, I like the site a lot. And, Eric is right, that CSS is sweet. I'm gonna write some jokes into mine I think.

It looks great, but I don't quite get how that isn't a 3 column layout...

Very nice.. A lot of funny pictures.. Hard to find good adult humor on the web without getting popup ads :)

Beaucoup de travail et un résultat plus qu'original ! Bravo l'artiste !

Hmm...I don't really like it that much. Sorry to be negative. I don't like how it appears to be one color overused everywhere...or maybe it's the particular shade of grey I just don't like. The typography is nice, I'm just not feeling the color scheme...
Ethel (http://luscious-and-uppity.com)
He just launched it and is still ironing out the code, it will validate in the near future.

Great illustration work and I like how the colors of the website are toned down. I think it puts more attention on the portfolio pieces.

Its pretty sad when some people have nothing better to do than critque a sites design based on the validation of a "&". It is obvious that this man spent a great deal of time on this site and it is insulting to comment on something so small.

F*** the code...the visuals, people, the visuals...people doesn´t see the code, see the result. Anyway, in the next one, validation will be a must ;-) Congratulations, pal, and merry xmas to everyone

Ease off on the Iron Man status. It will happen.

Wonderful work. I think Illustrators make the best websites. They have a natural talent for combining words and pictures. Ethel's comment has touched on something. I think the homepage is a little dark which gives it a slight unbalanced look regarding the colors she mentioned. Compare the homepage with the "compositionals..." and "100 one-offs..." They have a little more whitespace and smaller, brighter main pictures and I think that has made a difference. It's just a little thing, the site is an excellent entry and his portfolio alone is a good enough reason to visit.

i only design in "this field", but this field is overly concerned about validation. the differnce between proper usage of an ampersand or alt tags compared to the entire site is minimal. i don't feel that it is a shame that it does not validate. if it does validate the only thing he will get is a "Congratulations! Valid CSS!This document validates as CSS! "

HEY! Relax, Eric. Not everyone is a CSS guru or as capable as you. Kevin is an Illustrator first, and a coder, like fifth. This goes for other sites that don't validate too. Don't assume everyone needs to remove their head from their ass or that they have intentionally neglected something.
Jason Santa Maria (http://www.jasonsantamaria.com)
Not many words needed. It's just beautiful! From the CSS stylesheet alone one can clearly see the passion behind the layout structure. One ampersand not formatted correctly does not reduce the superb quality of this site. "Perhaps I should be like the rest of the sheep and just remark at how pretty the site is and ignore the mechanics behind it. " That is a rather harsh insult to and completely out of line. There are better ways in displaying opinions than by lashing out at people. These are my 0.577 €

The artwork is phenomenal and the site is quite orignal. Get over the validation thing, will ya, and give the guy the kudos he desrves for the remarkable work. Cheers, Bearskingrug! Nice job.

Good point. Imagine people analyzing and enjoying Billy wilder´s movies from aspects like the model of camera he used for shooting or the type off film...it´s needed to deal with validation, but the final result on screen is the main thing. Meery xmas to everyone

i dont get it...

Eric, understand the meanings of other manners of thinking. Of course I try to write good code (mainly for coming back to him months later with chance of surviving), but i dislike (accepting it), people who denies a web for a comment line not written here or there....it´s like somebody critizicing Gauguin´s paintings because he painted them with a camel-hair brush. It´s like movies, i don´t mind if the movie is a low-budget one or a big studio one; it´s the final work that matters. Am i clear? (sorry for my lousy english). Merry xmas to all.

It's just that the quality of submissions has dropped it seems yea wateva fucke u think ur a designer but you a num nuts coder wo thinks they can run 9 shitty ites at once. css vault yea..ok gets its hits..whitespace yea it does aswell..but the rest..RLMFAO you cant desicuss design unlesss your a true born gfx designer like myself..your a coder and a designer second bitch

Haha, that made my day. I love Idiots they are funny. Anyways nice site, I dont care if it doesnt validate this is not the validation vault. The site is clean and accessible.

Learn to write complete sentences first and spell words how they are meant to be spelled, and gee, maybe someone will take your opinion seriously. I sincerely hope that your graphic design benefits from a greater attention to detail than your written communication. While you are at it, you might consider posting under a real name, otherwise people will think your are scared to backup anything you say. Flaming other people, without any real point other than to belittle them, also makes you look like a moron.
Jason Santa Maria (http://www.jasonsantamaria.com)
I would point out that while we as web designers don't critque movies and camera angles, other people do. I've heard my friends who are into films do just that. Read some of the forum at IMDB. That are going to be people everywhere in any industry who are anal about things.

Nice works! I realy like the pictures inside. Always like wonderful designs!

beautiful......love it.
clint (http://clintfisherart.com)
The artwork and illustrations are great! The monochromacity of the site is a bit much for my humble liking, and the layout is not very cohesive. Its a little cluttered, but then it does have a lot of content.
